Ashley Copley

Ashley Copley

Director of Student Services
Nixa Public Schools

Ashley Copley started her career as a K-12 Special Education teacher and high school girls' basketball coach. After experience in the classroom, she became a Special Education Coordinator in a rural school district in southwest Missouri. In 2015 Ashley moved to Nixa Public Schools as Assistant Director for Special Services. In 2020 during the redesign of NPS's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan, the position of Director of Student Services was created, and Ashley currently fills the role. She is passionate about advocating for each student and is invested in building relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community. Together, we all can achieve more.

Susan Hansche has been an educator for 29 years, with 14 of those years in Transitional Kindergarten and 5 in the College of Education at MSU. Susan developed the initial TK program in Nixa in 2006. Her passion for early education and meeting the developmental needs of students for life-long impact has been the driving force of her career. Susan has been honored to advise and support a number of other districts in the development of their programs as well.
