Enhance your district's learning potential by strategically distributing your attendees across our various sessions. We recommend sending individuals or compact teams of 4-5 educators to different sessions, rather than registering a large group for a single session. This approach not only ensures a rich blend of districts in each session but also maximizes the benefits of cross-district knowledge sharing. By participating in multiple sessions, your educators will gain diverse perspectives and forge valuable connections with peers from other districts.

  • $50

  • Open only to GOCSD Members

  • 50 Attendees limit at each site

  • Includes lunch both days and all the necessary resources

GOCSD Partners with FranklinCovey

We are excited to announce that GOCSD has been awarded a grant through a partnership with FranklinCovey! This grant provides an exclusive opportunity for our members to engage in the renowned FranklinCovey Leadership workshop, 4 Essential Roles of Great Leaders, for a minimal fee. This powerful training will be led by nationally recognized FranklinCovey facilitators.

Why Attend?

We live in a time of unprecedented change. Leadership has never been so demanding or required so much. Not only must leaders take themselves and their schools/districts to a new level, but they need to help their people achieve new levels of success and attain sustainable and repeatable results. The good news is that leadership is a choice, not just a position. Leadership, at every level, can be learned and sustained with the right approach.

Even in the most turbulent times, there are four essential roles leaders play that are highly predictive of success. We call them essential, because as leaders consciously lead themselves and their teams in alignment with these roles, they lay the foundation for effective leadership.

  • Inspire Trust

  • Create Vision

  • Execute Strategy

  • Coach Potential

FranklinCovey spent more than two years learning what organizations and businesses need from their leaders today and in the future. They discovered that these organizations and businesses need leaders who could:

  • Think BIG and adapt quickly.

  • Translate strategy into meaningful work.

  • Coach people to a higher performance.

The 4 Essential Roles develop leaders who can master these skills consistently, within FranklinCovey’s unique framework that focuses on developing who a leader is as well as what a leader does.
