About this Session

GOCSD invites all Technology Directors in Southern Missouri to join a gathering of educational technology leaders at Nixa Schools. The event will take place in the Community Room starting at 10 AM, where participants will engage in meaningful discussions and share insights on the latest trends and challenges in educational technology.

At 11:30 AM, enjoy a delicious catered lunch, providing an excellent opportunity to network and foster professional relationships. Following lunch, at 12:30 PM, attendees will have the chance to participate in a tour of Nixa's technology resources led by David Liss, Nixa’s Executive Director of Technology. This tour will highlight innovative tools and strategies designed to enhance educational experiences.

Jeramie Price

Sparta School District

Jeramie began his career with the Ozark School District as a Building Technician. After five years, he was promoted to Project Manager for the Technology Department. During his time at Ozark, Jeramie, along with a few colleagues, launched an esports program at Ozark Junior High and Ozark High School. His passion for esports extended beyond coaching, as he also joined the board of directors of MOSEF, where he has served ever since. In 2022, Jeramie transitioned to the Sparta School District to become their Director of Technology. He finds great fulfillment in witnessing the success of teachers and students, especially when technology plays a key role in their achievements.

Christian Plaster

Christian Plaster
Helpdesk Lead/Digital Learning Specialist
Branson School District

Christian started working with the Branson Technology Office in 2015 as a high school student and was officially hired in 2019 as a member of the helpdesk team. He is currently the department's Helpdesk lead, endpoint manager, and instructional lead.

Christian has played a significant role in the GOCSD Innovation Summit Advisory and Planning team, contributing greatly to the successful execution of the conference and assisting with technology needs.
