About this Course

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already changing the way we work, communicate, and create—and education is not immune from this technology’s impact. In this recording, we’ll use SPN’s Future-Focused Instructional Design Process of Know, Apply, and Engage to explore AI and consider its impacts on school systems. We’ll learn through hands-on experiences that evaluate AI’s transformational potential and predictable challenges. We will:

  • Practice writing prompts for AI models

  • Use AI to simplify your workflow

  • Unleash your creativity

  • Create Future-Focused learning experiences for students

For this course, we recommend having on hand a device (phone, laptop, or tablet) that has access to at least one AI model such as: OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot. This might be an installed app, or one that you can access via your web browser.
