The Success-Ready Students Network (SRSN) is accepting applications for all 3 Innovation Zones. The application deadline for System Design Zone (SDZ) Cohort 2 has been extended to Aug 4, 2023.
SDZ Cohort 1 received a positive response on the Demonstration Project Waiver Request from the State Board of Education in June, with final board approval expected on August 15, 2023. SDZ Cohort 2 members will have the opportunity to also submit an MSIP 6 Waiver Request as part of their work with the SRSN. Both cohorts will also partner with DESE to request a Federal Waiver from MAP testing in the near future.
Districts interested in joining the SRSN's monthly professional learning without engaging in a waiver request can apply as an Innovative Learning Design Zone (ILDZ) district at any time. Education organizations and universities are encouraged to join as Collaborative Network Zone members for monthly learning.
The SRSN supports Missouri public school stakeholders in using a competency-based mindset to personalize learning and ensure students are prepared for high school, college, careers, and the workplace.
