Crane R-III

Crane R-III is proud to spotlight our incredible educators who go above and beyond, making public education great! Join us in celebrating our Teacher Proud Tuesday honorees, Mrs. Paige Maples and Mr. David Hesford! We would also like to thank Glossip Heating and Air for sponsoring our Teacher Proud Tuesdays by providing goodie bags for our monthly honorees!

Mrs. Maples is a loved 2nd grade teacher who truly cares for her students and works to find ways to engage her students in their learning. She welcomes everyone with a huge smile and gives the best hugs. She is a ray of sunshine at Crane Elementary!

Mr. Hesford is our new High School Math teacher. He does a terrific job at explaining the steps in a way that allows students to grow and excel. He has turned reluctant students into more capable mathematicians. We are are fortunate to have him as a Pirate!

This inviting environment not only encourages students to strive for excellence, but also ensures that they feel supported and valued as individuals. Dobie’s commitment to developing well-rounded musicians and confident leaders is evident in the success of his students, both within and beyond the band program. Beyond the classroom, Dobie is a pillar of music education in the region. Generously giving his time and expertise, he mentors young educators and works with band programs across the East Central area. Whether offering insightful feedback or providing guidance to colleagues — both new and experienced — Dobie’s impact extends far beyond his own school, elevating the quality of music education throughout the region.
