It’s TEACHER PROUD TUESDAY! The Strafford R-VI School District is excited to join Greater Ozarks Cooperating School Districts and other school districts across the region in celebrating teachers on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Today we’d like to honor Valerie Poynor, high school teacher. Mrs. Poynor teaches journalism, college psychology and leadership classes. She is also our middle and high school student council sponsor! Mrs. Poynor was nominated because she works very hard at everything she does for our district! She inspires students to grow under her leadership and brings out the best in each of them. She has also made an impact on the elementary building by connecting the high school students with the younger ages. We are proud to have Valerie Poynor on our team! #TeacherProud #straffordstrong
